I am continuing my mission to finish the series I read in my Young Adult Book Club .  This is one series I really enjoyed!  I received this book from NetGalley! Here is the goodreads description:

I wanted to read this series the moment I saw the cover of the first book.  The covers are beautiful.  Plus I really love reading about flappers.  It is such a fascinating era to me.  Where women were women who were fabulous and everything they did seemed to be on the edge of being rebellious, and men were gentlemen.   The third book in the series is my favorite.  It's like the author is getting better and better at writing.    Though I do think Jerome and Gloria's story was kinda avoided.

I wish I could've seen all the outfits and places described in the book.  The ensembles of the ladies I tried to picture in my mind but I am not sure if I gave them justice!    I did think the book finished in a little bow.  I thought it finished a little quick.  We went from a big wedding party to just two more chapters and then it was over. 

I just think the book could've been a little longer... a few plots line seemed hurried.  Otherwise, I am sad the series is over.  Thanks NetGally for the ARC!!!

I thought this graphic novel was OK.  I have played both Dragon Age 1 and 2.  I didn't care for the map of two.  We were in the same places over and over.  But I did like the characters.  I must say I was surprised that Alister hung out with Varric and Isabela on a journey.  I mean they weren't even in the same games!!  


I was going to read it on my Nook but whenever I read graphic novels on it I have a hard time reading the words because they get real blurry so I just read it through Adobe reader on my computer.  It's nice I can read it either way.  


Also I looked up this Dragon Age graphic novel on goodreads and discovered there are sooo many Dragon Age novels!!  Very surprising to me.  This one is the first one I had heard of for the game.

I love love the Avatar cartoon (not the movie..yuck).  So when I saw that NetGalley  had the graphic novel I had to get it. Here is the goodreads description:

This is the first time I have read a graphic novel for my Nook. I liked it.. but I'll admit, it was hard to read. The lettering was very tiny. I think it is because it was a NetGalley so it came through as a PDF so I couldn't zoom in or anything. But I loved the stories. If you are a fan of Avatar then you will love this graphic novel!! Aang is into all kinds of new adventures not seen on the show. I took a few pictures...

 The stories were great... but since the writing was tiny I gave the graphic novel 4 cats!  Can't wait for the new season of Avatar! For those of you who haven't seen the trailer here it is, the new season is called The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra
